Privacy, in plain language.
This policy explains the information OpsForge receives, why it is needed, and the choices available to customers and visitors.
Information we collect
OpsForge may receive information you provide when you buy a product, request support, or use an interactive feature. This can include your name, business name, email address, order details, support messages, and the edition you purchased.
Our hosting and security providers may automatically process limited technical information such as IP address, browser type, device information, requested pages, timestamps, and security signals. We do not ask you to create an OpsForge account to use an EstimatePro workbook.
Payments
Payments are processed by Stripe. OpsForge receives transaction details needed to confirm the order, provide a receipt and download, prevent fraud, handle disputes, and meet recordkeeping obligations. OpsForge does not receive or store your complete payment-card number.
Order recovery and delivery
When you request order recovery, OpsForge uses the submitted email address only to look for eligible completed orders and send a time-limited, one-time recovery link to that same inbox. The public response does not disclose whether an order exists. Request-rate records are pseudonymous and are used to prevent abuse.
Purchase, recovery, and support emails may be delivered by a transactional email provider acting for OpsForge. Delivery status, retry history, and limited error information may be retained to resolve missing-email problems.
Custom-project information
Custom project requests may include business contact information, workflow descriptions, configuration choices, sample records, source files, feedback, acceptance notes, and delivery communications. OpsForge uses this information only to scope, quote, build, test, deliver, support, and document the requested work.
Use fictional, de-identified, or minimized data whenever possible. Do not send passwords, authentication codes, API secrets, complete payment-card information, Social Security numbers, protected health information, information about children, or confidential client or employee records. If a project genuinely requires other sensitive information, do not send it until OpsForge has approved the necessity and transfer method in writing.
Unless a different period is agreed in writing, customer-supplied working files are scheduled for deletion from active project storage within 30 days after final delivery or cancellation. Copies in routine security backups may remain until normal rotation. OpsForge may retain the signed agreement, invoices, project decision record, acceptance record, and limited support history as reasonably necessary for business, tax, legal, security, and dispute-resolution purposes.
AI-assisted support
When the OpsForge support assistant is available, messages you submit may be sent to OpenAI to generate a response and screen for unsafe content. Do not enter passwords, complete payment-card information, private client records, health information, confidential estimate data, or information you are not authorized to share.
The assistant is limited to public product and support information. It cannot verify a payment, change an order, approve an estimate, or provide legal, tax, engineering, accounting, or safety advice. OpenAI states that API data is not used to train its models unless the account holder opts in, and that default abuse-monitoring logs may be retained for up to 30 days. See OpenAI's data-controls documentation.
How we use information
- Complete purchases and deliver protected digital files.
- Provide receipts, support, compatibility guidance, and order recovery.
- Operate, secure, troubleshoot, and improve the website and products.
- Prevent fraud, misuse, duplicate downloads, and security incidents.

When information is shared
We share information only as reasonably necessary with service providers that help operate the business, such as payment processing, hosting, security, email, optional analytics, and AI support if enabled. We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect rights and safety, or as part of a business transaction. OpsForge does not sell personal information for money.
Retention and security
We retain order and support information only as long as reasonably needed for delivery, support, fraud prevention, dispute handling, accounting, tax, and legal obligations. We use administrative and technical safeguards appropriate to the information involved, but no online system can guarantee absolute security.
Cookies and similar technology
The site and its infrastructure may use cookies or similar technology that are necessary for security, routing, and core functionality. OpsForge also offers optional Google Analytics. The Google tag is not loaded and no analytics information is sent to Google until you select “Allow analytics.” Declining does not limit the catalog, checkout, downloads, support, or any other site function.
If allowed, analytics may measure pages viewed, anonymous page-performance signals such as loading speed and layout stability, catalog-search length and result count, checkout starts, purchase amount and product information, and custom-product estimate activity. OpsForge does not send Google Analytics names, email addresses, form contents, support or chat messages, payment-card information, or OpsForge order and checkout identifiers. Raw catalog-search text is not sent. Advertising storage, Google Signals, and ad-personalization signals remain disabled.
Your choice is stored in your browser. Use “Analytics choices” in the website footer to review or change it. Learn more about how Google uses information from sites that use its services.
Your choices
You may ask to access, correct, or delete personal information, subject to identity verification and information we must retain. Depending on where you live, additional privacy rights may apply. OpsForge does not discriminate against anyone for exercising an applicable privacy right.
Children
OpsForge products are business tools and are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
Contact and changes
Questions or privacy requests can be sent to privacy@opsforge.llc. We may update this policy as the business or services change. The effective date above identifies the current version.
